Or, quite literally, "you should have the body" for those who didn't take Latin.

Rumor and innuendo are flying about the possible death of Osama bin Laden of Typhoid. I would implore the rumor-mongers to take the literal translation of Habeus Corpus into consideration before they lead off every newscast with the unconfirmed reports.

I am not getting whipped into a frenzy by unconfirmed, unsourced rumors and sheer speculation.

When they show the body, then I will believe it.

Until then, I don't know. And neither do you. So don't get played on this issue.
