Voter ID decision wrap-up

Apparently the lone dissenting vote to overturn Judge Callahans decision to overturn the law was Judge Steven Limbaugh. Yes. Limbaugh.

Even in the face of a Six-to-Limbaugh decision, MOGOP spokesman Paul Sloca called it a "serious blow to free and fair elections and demonstrates how far desperate Democrats will go to continue their cheating ways at the polls."

Yup...Democrats are such cheaters . That is why we have control of all the levers of power in the state. I mean really. He said this with a straight face. Can you stand it?!?!?

Actually, the problem with voter fraud in Missouri is not one of voter identity assumption, it is a problem of roll scrubbing of inner city voters. Approximately 200 instances of voters posing as another person to cast a duplicate vote occur nation wide, out of a population of nearly 200 million potential voters. Literally one in a million. Talk about overkill. In their zeal to prevent 200 instances of duplicate vote casting per election, the Voter ID bills would risk barring 20 million legitimate voters from the polls -- or 1 in 10 -- just because the don't have the right TYPE of ID, not because they aren't who they say they are.

Of course, the danger of stealing an election by rigging the computers is another matter entirely; and one the Publicans don't seem to mind.
