What Does the Farm Burea Have to do with Stem Cell Research, Anyway?

I am usually all for any group with political clout calling Matt "the Boy Blunder" Blunt out. I take a schaddenfreude view every time his political nose gets bloodied.

But really - what does the state agricultural lobby have to lose or gain by adopting a policy position on stem-cell research?
