Auditor Misplaced $195,000 of Platte County Funds: Part II

Seems candidate for State Auditor and CPA Sandra Thomas has had difficulty in performing the duties of auditor in the past. The Platte County Landmark reported on JAnuary 5, 2006 that the auditor had failed to produce the budget in a timely fashion.

None of these shortcomings, however, tarnish her ability to manage a state budget, covering 115 counties, in the eyes of the Governor, who still heartily endorses Ms. Thomas.

That's too bad. The citizens of Missouri deserve better. Both in the Auditor's office and the Governor's office.
