Too Early to Draft Paul Hackett for 2008?

First, a Marine in uniform called the Commander in Chief a Son-of-a-Bitch. When an apology was demanded he said "Nope, I said it, I stand by it, and I would say it again." (Lemme tell you, my knees just sorta buckled when I heard that. Straight talk! I coulda swooned!)

So the right wing noise machine tries to destroy the Marine, but he isn't cowed. Rush Limbaugh called him nothing more than a "staff puke." (Way to support the troops there, Rush!) Hackett responded by calling Limbaugh a "fatassed drug addict."

See, when you train someone to shoot, then you gotta expect return fire if you start taking pot-shots at him. Paul Hackett has earned the right to call the C-in-C a "Son-of-a-Bitch" because he was put in harms way for Bush's lies. Likewise, he has every right to call out Limbaugh, who is a fatassed drug addict, for calling him a "staff puke" and for denigrating his service and the service of so many others who are baking under a desert sun right now.

Paul Hackett represents me. He is common sense personified, and he is fed up. He has heard enough bullshit, and he's calling out the bullshitters and the chicken-hawks. He has more spine and a bigger set than any Democrat out there. It is time we had a charismatic leader, and he's the complete package. He has charisma and smarts and bravery and charm and integrity and honesty and chutzpah - in spades!

The minute I hear of a "Draft Hackett for 2008" movement, I will become a supporter, a fundraiser, a volunteer with an obsession. I will work for him in every capacity I possibly can. The time is now, the job is open, and the right man for that job is Paul Hackett. The recruitment committee has spoken, lets offer him the job, what do you say?
