When all else fails...hang the dictator

The Coalition Provisional Authority has transfered custody of Saddam Hussein to the Iraqi government for dispensation of his imposed sentence.

Iraqi law mandates that the sentence be carried out within thirty days of the denial of appeal. The appeal was denied just a few days ago, and yesterday the Iraqi's asked for the transfer of the prisoner.

The next few days will be tense. Unless he has already been hanged. If that's the case, look for the whole country to explode. And hope that neighboring Sunni populations don't get in on the fun...
