These very Republicans jealously protecting the rights of the minority now that they are in it are the very same ones who were denying the democrats the rights of the minority party. They were shut out of debate and they were not even informed when important committee meetings were taking place. Votes were held open, ethics rules were changed to avoid punishing powerful Republicans, the list of Republican wrongdoing is long and sordid. It takes a special kind of sociopathic personality to kill your parents then ask the court for mercy because you're an orphan, you know.
