Now if Brady Dick were a state senator...

Every time I start to come to grips with the gross miscarriage of justice that was perpetrated against the Dick family of Raymore, something flits through the media and I get pissed off all over again. Unlike the saga that caught up the Dick family, this latest bit of immigration kabuki involves the illegal immigrant wife of a Republican state senator from Georgia, a marriage that is only a few months old, and involves no children, and the immigrant in question hasn't been here since she was a child; but hey, IOKIYAR.

She gets to stay here and live with her husband and attend grad school while it all sorts itself out. Myrna Dick was deported to a country where whe has no permanent ties, hasn't lived since she was a child and she was arrested renewing her work permit, accused of lying on a form (which the government has never introduced as evidence) during a border crossing years ago.

Yeah. No dichotomy between these cases. None at all.
