This is not a joke

It's funny, but then again it isn't.

One of the most hotly contested Senate races in the country is right here in Missouri, and the eyes of the nation are upon us. On Wednesday, the candidates come to town for their fifth and final debate.

And the local media will run the debate on Thursday. They don't want to pre-empt Lost or Dancing with the Stars. I kid you not. And according to the websites for KCUR and KCPT (public radio and TV, respectively) they will air it on Thursday as well.

So a bunch of reporters will see the debate live, but not the voters.

This is ridiculous. Unconscionable. Humiliating. Besides that, it makes us look really, really bad.
