The recruiters got their moneys worth with this guy

Navy SEAL CPO 2nd Class Michael Monsoor sacrificed his own life on September 29th on a rooftop in Ramadi. His actions that day saved the lives of his comrades. Monsoor fell on a grenade that had been tossed into his sniper nest by insurgents.

"He never took his eye off the grenade. His only movement was down toward it." said a Lieutenant who was injured in the blast. "He undoubtedly saved mine and the other SEALs' lives, and we owe him."

It was not his first selfless act. On May 9th, he and another SEAL faced gunfire with valor to drag an injured troop to safety while bullets pinged all around him. For this, he was posthumously awarded the Silver Star. He is being considered for recognition for the act of bravery that cost him his life and saved the lives of his team.

My heart goes out to his family, as well as to those with whom he served.
