Publicans and the "Democrat Party"

Recently a comment was left on another post expressing the opinion that the whole "Democrat Publican" thing was childish. I responded that I would restore the "Re" when they restored the "ic" and not one moment before.

Here is the President himself committing the very sin-of-spin in a speech last Monday.

I am not going to sit in the corner and take it. Gloves are off and they are staying off. And I will certainly give as good as I get. And no, I will not stop calling them Publicans any time soon. They have pitched their tent. Let the winds commence.

PRES. GEORGE W. BUSH: There’s a difference of opinion in Washington. If you listen closely to some of the leaders of the Democrat Party, it sounds like, it sounds like they think the best way to protect the American people is wait until we’re attacked again.

And nobody has said anything closely resembling the slander the president propagates. We want to catch terrorists too. But we don't want to give up America in the process. Isn't that what we are supposed to be fighting for?
