The Foley Debacle Just Keeps Getting Worse

ABC News is reporting that the House Clerks Office has been warning pages about Foley for five years. This puts the lie to the spin that they didn't know anything until recently, that they just saw the emails recently, yadda yadda yadda.

I call shenanigans. They opted to allow a sexual predator to continue his lecherous ways rather than risk a seat. For five years. For shame.

But here is the kicker - only Pages sponsored by Republican members of the house were warned. Pages sponsored by Democratic members of the house were not warned.

Can we just call it a conspiracy now? The term fits. It isn't too strong. What else could you call it? The only Democratic member of the Page Committee was purposefully left out of the discussions. The Pages sponsored by Democrats were left to their own devices. The leadership knew what was going on, and did nothing to stop his predatory behavior.

That is a conspiracy. And may it take down the entire House leadership.
