The city of Amara has fallen to the insurgency. Coalition forces have withdrawn in the wake of the Mahdi Army siezing two police stations and a police headquarters.
Do not come here and spin this with "Well yes. They ran amok for half a day in the streets and lost 1/3 of their forces." If the coalition had any measure of control, do you think for five seconds that that would have even been possible?
