Please. By all means, attack this woman. Please. I beg of you. Attack her.

Major Tammy Duckworth, a trained soldier, is firing across the bow of the president and the Publican party. And she has the moral authority to do so. She is one of over 20,000 soldiers wounded in his war, predicated on his lies. Her wounds were sustained long after his "Mission Accomplished" photo-op on the USS Abraham Lincoln.

Please, I beg of the Publicans - attack this woman. Call her a coward. Accuse her of wanting to "cut and run." I dare you. I double-dog dare you. Call her a coward and watch it blow up in your face. Peter Roskam is learning that lesson in Illinois, where he accused her of wanting to "cut and run" from Iraq. That's a good one - she will never physically run again, because she lost her legs in combat.

This from the man who never served a day in uniform.

Today, she gave the Democrats radio address, and she stood her ground - like the good soldier she will always be. She gave no quarter. And the good people of Illinois will undoubtedly send her to the House, and Roskam back to his law firm where he belongs.
