Jill Carroll is Free!

Jill Carroll, the free-lance reporter for the Christian Science Monitor who was taken in a kidnapping in Baghdad on January 7 of this year, a kidnapping that left her driver/interpreter gunned down, has been freed by her captors. Details are still emerging, and her only public statement thus far has been that she just wants to see her family. I respect that. But good news coming out of Baghdad is so rare these days, and this is good news indeed.
