Congressmen visiting Troops in Baghdad for the Holiday Injured in Car Crash

Details are few and far between at this point, but Missouri Congressman Ike Skelton was injured in a vehicle accident in Iraq while he was there to visit the troops. Also injured in the accident was Pennsylvania Representative Tim Murphy.

Reuters is reporting that injuries were minor and both congressmen have been flown to Germany to undergo further testing before returning to the United States.
