Attack kills three Americans
BAGHDAD, Iraq -- "The U.S. military said three U.S. Soldiers were killed Monday.
A roadside bomb north of Baghdad hit two from Task Force Liberty, and one from Task Force Baghdad died during a rocket attack in the capital. Two soldiers died Sunday when their vehicle overturned near Tal Afar."
Is this what it has come to? "Ho Hum, three more less-affluent kids shuffled off the mortal coil today. Slap another yellow ribbon on your SUV, that's all you can do to help the cause."
I am disgusted with the cheerleaders for this war, and even more put-off by the appologists. Dead soldiers are not A-9 news. They should be front-page news, and the coffins coming in through Dover should be shown too, in my opinion. You want a war? Fine. Show all the gory detail, not just the parts that give you a warm fuzzy feeling. 1850-plus kids are dead. That is an ominous thought to get your head around, but we need to get our heads around it, every last one of us!
