Mumbles Takes the Stage
It was a wince-worthy moment earlier today when our witless leader took the stage to attempt to swagger and smirk his way through a press conference. Personally, my favorite part was when he earnestly explained that people had been "Disassembling. That means not telling the truth."
Huh? Does he even know he made a mistake? I'm guessing he had never registered the word "disembling" in his tiny little brain in his narrow, worthless life before it came up in a canned answer to a pre-screened question. He obviously doesn't know the word, yet he would deign to lecture the rest of us? What a joke!
Amnesty International has recently listed the United States on it's list of states that sanction torture. It is 2005 and that is unconscionable. We are currently outsourcing our torture to Uzbekistan. Some of the things that pass for acceptable interogation techniques in that country include having the fingernails ripped out with pliers, and boiling alive. I think we need some new friends.
